I
Oh critter!
sheltered
warmly,
in this tedious embrace.
You have found thyself
crawling,
in the hallways of her
crackling
brain.
Nestled there,
you travel
her
incessantly.
II
The rocks are now glowing, tinted red
She senses a slippery fear
that you are gone,
and yet the thumping,
tender
stabbing of your breath
has sung.
III
Oh quiet notes!
distantly in her farewell.
It’s reaching arms are now
in a critter’s hell.
Oh! How she gleams
and how she sleeps.
Oh!
How she weeps.
She said:
“Farewell.”
